hello all!

imagine my surprise when i saw that this blog is actually still active and being updated. alright thanks to chenjing n linmin! and yesss chenjing i tried to read wat u have uploaded, but all i can see is the big red words haha.
after reading wat chenjing n linmin have written, i have decided to share with all of u wat i have been doing. while probably u all would have heard abt it in one way or another. currently i'm in usa for exchange program, and omg its super exciting! i mean exchange programs r usually exciting! but one piece of advice, if u wan a slack exchange program, pls dont come to the states. haha. cuz contrary to popular belief, most of us here r not slacking away, but we have assignments almost every other day to turn in to profs n wat's not. and we have midterm tests too :( europe will be a better alternative if u wan a more relaxing curriculum.
nevertheless, USA has been a very good experience so far. we definitely have to speak up more in class (cuz it is so common for them to do so), and its interesting to meet different pple. during our free time, we will go explore the area arnd sch (ok the sch campus is quite big, so there's quite a lot of places to explore) and take photos! yest, we just came back from snow sleding, and it was simply cheap thrill! haha. and maybe next weekend, we will be going skiing, which i tink is quite cool since i have nv skiied before :D
besides travelling arnd, being overseas by urself together with a bunch of crazy yet quite smart ntu pple means there's alot of things which i have to do it myself, like go set up a bank account, learn to spend within budget, buy phone line, cook dinner (using nothing but a boiler n microwave only!), learn the transportation system etc. which i must say is also a gd learning experience. also, once here, u also realise that there r no more NTUC, or shop&save. in replacement of those are USA megamarts walmart, meijer and target stores. i must say its a nice change of environment, but things are definitely more expensive here!! one thing tt i dont like is the cost of the textbooks, so i really appreciate studying in sg for tt. haha.
anyway, it is still chinese new yr, and i dont tink i'm missing much of the spirit except for meet-ups with friends and relatives, because i brought my pineapple tarts over here (heehee), we can still play and gamble with cards here, and we still eat at chinese restaurants here! haha. but still i'm sure u all r enjoying urself during this festive season, n continue to do so!

Hello~~~After reading Lin Min's post on boy to man, society, growing up, teenagehood to adulthood, serving others, adventures, I feel my posts are awefully shallow~ I have written it a month ago but too lazy to scan it. Some accuse may not apply any more.=)

Happy Chinese New Year. I am leaving for Vienna tomorrow and I am having my usual pre-departure fear (not anxiety) again. I should start packing anyway.

Hey people,
Just thought I should post something here, to share some reflections and thoughts. Its been 2 years since graduation, and I guess many of us have gone on different paths - from enlisting into army to studying in universities and Shatec. Well, it would be interesting if everyone can share their experiences here and update others on what they might have missed out. Haha, this is a suggestion by Chen Jing, and she thinks that I should start the ball rolling as the CT rep. I wonder if any people still come and visit this blog, but anyways, here goes:

My 2 years in army is coming to a close, and I must admit I've grown pretty much used to in-camp life. Though army life is perhaps tough and hard to adapt to, I think most of us would agree that it serves a definite purpose. Not only does it train up a capable defence force, but it also moulds boys into men. Personally, I feel that I have grown much during these while, and saw a whole spectrum of the society which I was shielded from during my 12 years of academic life. Some of my men come from very diverse family backgrounds, and have a whole range of problems - family, financial, relationship, medical. It is an eye-opener seeing these problems for myself, and almost impossible to experience what they actually feel. Speaking to them through those interviews and trying to provide advice is something I've learnt to do, but their problems are often rather complicated and not so easily resolved. While it might be easy to turn empathetic and feel for these individuals, that is perhaps never the point. Instead, it is encouraging to see many of them who could carry on with their training with great resolve and positive attitude despite their problems. Simple things like the smiles on their face are things that motivate me to go on and fulfil my roles as their PC.

Well, during the past year, I've also done many silly things that I would look back and laugh at in the future. My feel about this is that we're young only once and there are certain things that we should try while we are still capable. For one, I've tried walking from Pasir Ris to Suntec in slippers with four other friends because we could not fit into a taxi. The irony of it all was that all 5 of us managed to get onto a taxi at 530 in the morning at Suntec. The whole trek took us five plus hours, and a great deal of resolve, but we would simply laugh it off whenever we look back. Well, on the more serious note, my piece of advice for everyone is - dun be afraid to think big, and do not hold back from your dreams. Be clear of what you want in your life, and go about achieving them in whatever small steps each day. Be it to run your first ever marathon or to pick up a new hobby, be positive and take the neccessary steps. Lead a driven life and not look back with any regrets. We live our lives only once, and we will become but memories once they are over. It is these memories that we create that will last on.

Teenagehood to adulthood is a transition that all of us have to go through. Some have to go through the hard way, learning to balance financial issues with academic studies. Its a period of time when we have to make important choices and decisions, which will eventually map out our future paths. We will have to learn to live with the consequences of the choices that we make, even though they may not always be the most pleasant. I suppose friends and family are important in this case, as they provide strong pillars of support. I am fortunate to have found friends in the army, people who I know I can count on. But just as easily as they appear in your lives, they would be gone in no time. It is important to keep in contact with them, and spend the effort and the time maintaing these invaluable friendships. More often than not, the christmas-new year festive period is a good time for these rekindling sessions.

Hello pple!

after reading hindarto's story abt sch, i feel so envious!! hindarto! u sound like u are having a lot of fun! in my office alot of pple smoke too! quite irritating.. but i think i got used to it. i always wonder why do pple smoke.. it's like so disgusting and all.. but i guess some pple juz find it relaxing(that's according to my colleague when i asked). and hindarto! one day u shld cook for us!! we wanna sample sample ur cooking!!

i'm going to stop working in 11 working days!! whee! i cant wait to finally get a life again! i haven really decided wat i wanna do after that.. initially i hav so many plans but now i feel quite lost. haha.

So where are all of u going to study? i'm going to nus to study science.. yea. so i'm going to be a teacher next time..that's sth for sure. haha.. who knows one day i will be ur children's teacher.. imagine i meet one of u at the meet-the-parents session. haha. go uni so mafan.. still hav to go for medical check up. i'm only afraid of taking my weight :S haha. i'm afraid of facing reality. maybe i shld take up Coach Cheong's advice and jog slowly for 40 min. haha.

haha.. wanx! my bestie bully u ar? okok.. i will scold him the next time i see him k!

im blogging on behalf of our dear friend cheong_yixue@hotmail.com cus blogger doesnt like him so he isnt given access to this blog! so being a nice exclassmate and potential future schoolmate/senior (HAHAHAAHHAH) i shall do him a favour !

okay firstly, he wants everyone to know that he's calling me FMM (^!%&#*#*$&*$??!!@?#) (sorry, to protect my pride i cannot tell you what he calls me, lets just say it contains negative connotations) wanz, your bestie. YOUR BESTIE. keeps calling me FMM and still so proud of it. YOUR BESTIE BULLIES ME. not to mention terrorizes me too. but that i can understand. cus i call him monster, which monster doesnt terrorize? =b

hmm, he's having fun in the army, now that he's doing k3wlz stuffz which i cannot really explain in detail cus i cannot really remember due to the impact of his terrorism. oh and he's a happy boy gyming every once a week to keep fit. here's his advice to those who wanna lose weight : jog damn slowly for 40min

oh he's deciding which uni he should accept : NTU or SMU. NTU acct SMU doubledeg acct&biz. maybe we can all help him by giving him our two cents worth ( if you wanna give more im sure he doesnt mind. give less also doesnt matter since he's quite big hearted ) but he hopes that he wont cause a big furore and distract female students in whichever uni he chooses to enter. =| ( wanz, your bestie worries too much )

Yo peeps!!! Hindarto here. its my 1st time blogging in like.... EVER! So yisin..... dun complain alrdy k? HAHA. jk only la. Thx to aloy tt i can finally post a msg and find d class blog url:) anyway, how are u guys in army? its been a mth or 2 since i last saw u guys. N u gals still wokring ur butts off eh? at least better than juz slacking at home yea?
Honestly, im having a great time in sch:) cooking is so much fun. So far, ive been a victim of my knife twice... and kena burn by d pan handle twice too... sigh. clumsy clumsy. But one bad thing is tt d sch hours are really really long. my mon n fri is like 8.30am - 8.30pm. lucky sat no sch sia. the ppl in my class.... lets juz say that their diff. out of 44 ppl, only 4 are gals(somehow reminds me of chs days) and one of them is 39 yrs old... sigh... it saddens me somehow. during class whenever d teachers gave us like 10 min break.. 70% of d guys would go out to smoke and hang out. damn sian. N they seriously curse like nobodys business... so much so tt i oso start ler. wad to do. but i tink... somehow, they r all gd guys. N my course tutor is imba lor... his hand is like immune to heat. his hand kena boiling water and he still mian bu gai se(face no change color). like only tap water running through them like tt... damn sick. and he touches damn hot pans like nth lor. wah... really admire him man...
another reason i like d sch so much is tt ever since sch starts... which was 4 wks ago.dere has nvr been any hw AT ALL!!! how cool is tt lor, so unlike hc, 1st wk only got test alrdy... And guess wad im learning for d eng lessons... PLURAL, PRONOUNS, ADJETIVE, PAST, PAST PARTICIPLE, etc etc. how cool is tt, how pathetic is tt?!! how time wasting is tt sia... sigh. but im not gonna complain or anything... its a great time for a nap HAHA... n of cos, d teacher dun really give a damn to wads happening in d class.. juz in a hurry to finish his class. GD or BAD? U decide. haha.

so how are you guys in army share some stories! like whether y'all have any encounter with the paranormal (ooh exciting!), does the army make y'all feel like you're in chinese high all over again, are y'all lovin' it in there, are trainings still as strenuous, do the officers care if you sink or swim etc etc etc!

on to something random haha i think im very random but being random is good cus you might just brighten someone's day unknowingly. (okay im being optimistic here i'd like to think that being random can brighten up someone's day haha dont burst my bubble. yet. =D) oh i think having maternal instincts at 19 is freaky but somehow _____________(insert a positive adjective)(cus i dont know how to describe that fewling its indescribable okay i admit my vocab lousy). i think its cus i interact with kids quite often. YISIN DO YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY????!!!! i dont know like when you're having a bad day, or just an average day, or maybe even a good day, somehow they're able to bring it up a notch or two notches or twenty notches. its amazing! the kind of effect kids have on you. even though they're noisy and talkative and naughty but at the end of the day their innocence and vulnerability just overrides everything else and you'll want to kiss and hug them and pinch their cheeks and say 'YOU'RE SO ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' Hey everyone, how has everyone been doing?

heard that there was a class outing today, went to watch spiderman 3? how was the movie? i wanna watch it too!! but sorry couldn't make it cuz i got to give tuition to my tutees, this is the exam month! -pulls hair- (for my students) haha.
anw this blog is kinda dead!! so hopefully pple can breathe some life into this blog ya ahha.oh i m feeling excited!! i m going to hongkong with my friend, and its a free n easy thing! then like will be going to macau and guangzhou. i tink it will be fun since its only 2 of us wandering arnd on our own, and have to plan our own stuff. hope everything will go smoothly then. wanzhen shld be going hk n macau with her friends too! ahha so qiao :P i even consulted liye abt hongkong ok haha. he says must go and visit his dear friend there in macau, who apparently is some casino billionaire. but wells, as usual, liye blufff me.

oh ya, i have asked some pple to blog. like hindarto! hope he sees this. cuz he went into shatec and so i asked him to blog abt his sch life there, which i tink should be quite interesting ah! then he replied he would if he's free, apparently he bluff me too. haha kidding. then yixue said the class blog doesn't like him, cuz he cannot see what's in the blog, tt's why he didn't blog. maybe we can change into sth more user-friendly ah! ahha hopefully that will entice and encourage more people to blog!!

more nonsense

Alright ladies and gentlemen I guess my previous joke failed and didn't strike a chord with you all. Nevermind, today I shall help to keep this blog alive. My job ended quite a while ago and I was unsuccessful in trying to extend my contract, leaving me unemployed until further notice. I think I might not be going into the army in April but even later. That sucks. I'm reduced to doing nothing much constructive at home. Anyway, there isn't much of a point in the bulk of my post today, which is as follows:

On Sunday, I happened to be in an arcade in Jurong Point and played a little bit of the Mario Kart arcade game. It wasn't very interesting until there was this small kid who went to play at the machine beside me. Still nothing interesting. And then suddenly the kid was slamming his whole body side to side. It looked pretty crazy and drew my attention, whereby what I saw made me wonder if something was wrong with the boy.

As he was trying to steer his character's vehicle (which happened to be the same character as mine, the mushroom guy named Toad), he turned the steering wheel to the fullest extent and pulled his entire body along in the opposite direction as though he was trying to rip out the steering wheel like some crazy monster caged in a dark room for a few hundred years making him grow evil and demented. Like turn left, pull yourself right. Not surprisingly, he would have to turn the other way because he made such hard turns, effectively moving in a zig-zag fashion, with himself swinging along . There were one or two other kids watching us play and I was quite sure they were more interested in watching a driver play with style. I was just a boring guy playing quietly. Luckily there was ample space between the seats or I would probably receive a nice headbutt from him.

The next thing about the boy that wasn't as crazy but somewhat affirmed my suspicions that he was slightly out of contact with planet Earth was how he reacted while playing the game. He was like thinking out loud if you know what I mean. This game, in most cases, is about luck and tyco-ness because sometimes near the end when you're winning some lucky bastard computer player obtains a killer item (maybe the computer cheats), locks on onto you and shoots, making you explode and lose the race while everyone else overtakes you, not to mention the insane aggressiveness of the computer opponents as they slam into you with every opportunity they've got. Sorry this was a bit long but if you get my drift the kid was actually playing pretty emotionally and was like, "oh no the stupid Mario shoot me", "I'm gonna win him now", "stupid wall" etc., and of course he made a brilliant finish by jumping (well you can't really jump while seated) with a "yes!" and a fist shooting into the air as he sees the word "1ST" at the end. Then looking to his left and right to see if he's impressed any onlookers. Or, the emotional loss, "oh no..." and hands covering his face as though it was a matter of life and death. And, he reads out what is shown on the screen and goes like, "Giant Mushroom YEAH!!!". And then there's this part which shows you the item to be won in the next race and he goes like, "winner's prize: Trash Can YEAHHH!" I guess we don't want to dampen his mood by telling him it's the next item up for grabs, not yours yet. The retarded part about this Mario game is the camera that by default snaps a photo of your face and uses it as your player portrait with an overlay of the character. So like if you play Mario, there would be a moustache over your photo, regardless of the position of your face. And man, the kid really tried to look his best when taking the shot. Damn charismatic, serious face. Polka dot mushroom top floating above head. Probably as serious as a doctor diagnosing some patient with a terminal illness. Well that doesn't matter much anyway.

Okay this is getting a bit long but I'm finally reaching the best part. Now the last thing that made me wonder if God made a really, really bad mistake in his design of The Modern Human Child was this. At some point in certain races the track ends and you warp to a different part, with this bworb sound and the screen has some effects to go along. What this kid did was, right as he was about to get warped, he would let go of the steering wheel. Put up his hands. Hands on both sides of head. Do the twinkle twinkle little star action. DO THE TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR ACTION. Resume playing when the warping animation ends. I was like, oh my God. I mean, he was by himself man! Maybe he wanted to act seh and show off to the other one or two kids behind but seriously, the last thing you want to do playing this rather brainless game is do something even more brainless. Some Malay guys playing Daytona right beside were looking at him, jaws slack and reaching the floor. I joined along.

Well, this little incident made me realise that maybe even higher order beings keep up with the times and revise their human designs. And maybe, you might want to do the freaking twinkle twinkle little star action in a similar situation, by yourself.

In the meantime, I shall go to sleep and wake up to a brand new day with no job and absolutely no idea of when I'm going in. Enjoy yourselves.

Boo!

okay i'm attempting to blog after seeing wanx's post. haha. work has been pretty boring recently. maybe it's juz my work.. but it's getting a little on my nerves becuz i haven been using a lot of my brain.. the things i do are mundance and meaningless. so i seriously cant wait to get back to sch! haha. thankfully, all these torture will end on 31 may and after that i'm going to try to find another job.. like sell ice cream!! haha! i really wanna sell ice cream! and i want to do some community service. i think that will definitely make life more meaningful for me. so if anybody wants to join me, juz let me noe k!

okay, sth quite serious to share with u guys.. i dunno how many of u knew abt it.. but i heard from xuebin that ms quek recently underwent an operation. she is alr back in sch teaching.. so if anyone of u is free.. can juz drop by to visit her.. yup yup.

ah the blog's really stagnant! come on people blog!
aiyar anyhow blog even if its like a few sentences one sentence one word ( okay maybe not ) at least all of us ( some of us..? ) will know you're still out there somewhere doing okay enough to get to a computer =D

anyways since no one is bloggin i shall attempt to breathe life into this blog.
NOTE: the emphasis is on the word 'attempt'.

friday was the most exciting day at work in amex ever since i joined them like a few weeks ago. okay la the above sentence is very subjective. but at least that day i didnt get to like sit down for the entire ____________ (insert a suitable adjective) day and encourage the growth of fats.

i helped my boss (her name's joanna by the way) clear the cupboard which she's incharge of. the cupboard consists of old phones which i was supposed to test to see if all of them were working. so its quite fun! i get to plug and unplug the phones, log in and log out the numbers, and stick stickers on them to verify that they're OK! and i did it all standing up! (actually now that ive blogged about it right, i realised how pathetic i actually sound, like getting all excited over old phones. okay..... moving on....)

then i was sent on an errand which requires me to run from departments to departments in amex (they occupy like several floors in Hitachi Towers) ( okay maybe not run, just walk ) to deliver booklets and get signatures from all the heads and stuff.
so i get to go to all the floors that amex occupy and EXPLORE ahahahs. its pretty cool. like for example to get to the banking hall which is situated on the 1st floor from the 3rd floor you need to take this escalator which takes like ages to get you there. i on my way down i saw this woman who fell asleep riding up. yeah you can really catch 40 winks on that thing.
the most embarrassing moment of the day was when i accidently walked into some big shot's office, thinking it was the way out. then when i opened the door and saw what i didnt expect to see ( no, nothing saucy,hope your imagination didnt run wild haha i only saw an office setting, not quite what i was expecting since i was on my way OUT so i expected to see the lobby ) i gasped DAMN LOUD cus i was too shocked hahaha then i turned and saw the ENTIRE department staring at me. and most of them are females. as you guys know, female stares are lethal. i apologised like shit and dashed out. omg utterly disgraceful. =(((((((((

when i was done with that job i was sent on another one! (YAYYYYYYYYYY!!)i was supposed to cab down to the concourse and get yet another big shot to sign on lines.
cool! so on my way outta the office some guy accidently kicked me in the shin and i yelped not-as-loudly-as-i-gasped and this time, thankfully, only a handful heard and turned my way. made another dashing outta the office. i chatted with the cabdriver, i chatted with the big shot's secretary and i chatted with the security officer at concourse ( okay not really chat, just asked him for directions ahahaha )
so i returned a very happy girl and just nice it was almost time to end work. =D

haha just thought that i'll blog this down cus its the first time i felt tremors from an earthquake that happened to our darling neighbours!

no la i not so smart as to know that an earthquake happened when i felt the tremours.i found out like MUCH MUCH later.
at first i thought i was gonna faint.
cus like ive been staring at the comp screen for quite long already. then i thought wah die i seh already. i was like swaying too much for it to be at my natural frequency. then after a while it stopped. then i was thinking, maybe im not gonna faint. then after a while i was swaying again. I GOT QUITE SCARED CUS NOBODY WAS WITH ME THEN I THOUGHT GOT SOME SPIRIT BEHIND ME SHAKING ME LA! woah lao the thought of a spirit bothering me shook me up real bad ( no pun ) i couldnt stop thinking about it the whole day then after that i found out it was an earthquake in sumatra.

anyways i read our senior class blog haha.
they're still rather close and have been meeting up quite a bit!
i wish we were like them too.
plus they've got tons of photos! brings back lots of memories manz.
hope we can be like them! keeping in touch even after 2 years of graduation!

hello people!
hahas im so excited im blogging on my own the first time okay nonsense.
anyways, did you guys catch chingay?
I TOOK PART IN IT!! =D!!
HAHAHS i was doing the spanish dance thingy!
rumours has it that (haha) i appeared on tv, for my 2 seconds worth of fame.
HAHAHAH i dont think can see me at all i think i just zoomed past the camera.
aww shucks and i thought i would appear on tv like a full 10sec cus i was smiling and waving at the cameraman. darn! waste my energy.
anyhow, that night was really fun man ( i think melvin lim or ms heng would be very ashamed of my vocabulary, the lack of it rather ) it would be a dream come true for all ms/mr singapore wannabes cus most of the night was spent pretending you're a pageant winner ie smiling and waving at people like you're about to be a superstar or you've already became one.
its damn cool! like people will whistle and shout to get your attention then wave at you then you just gamely smile and wave back like how the bigshots do.

after the parade was supp ta be some after-party stuff, i thought it would be like the performers creating havoc on the streets. i was rather shocked when the audiences like all came down to mingle with the performers.
oh heres the cool part. this part is when you literally and physically and technically and whatevercally become a megastar.
i guess tourists made up the bulk of the audience, so naturally they'd want to take photos for memories. ahhas me and my friends got approached by a steady stream of tourists who wants to take a photo with us and some of them even waited for us you know its quite appalling like you hear them go : OH YOU'RE FINALLY HERE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO COME BACK WILL YOU TAKE A PHOTO WITH US JUST ONE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE along those lines then the next thing you know they take more than one photo. nice.
the scary part is when you strike a pose for one camera, tons of others just mysteriously come from no where and snap away so me and my friends were like stuck at one spot for like a few min until i couldnt feel myself smiling anymore. damn freaky. being in the limelight for a while is quite fun, then it starts to get excessive you get tired of it. if you want to be famous, you must be prepared. like train your mouth muscles or smth. if you think your mouth muscles are not up to it, tell the photographers : ONE SHOT AND THATS IT, ANYMORE, I'LL SUE TILL YOUR PANTS DROP. that'll work no? considering people take other people to court so easily nowadays like lawyers not expensive like that.

YUPP THATS MY CHINGAY EXPERIENCE! =D
i never knew chingay was fun until i took part.
all my 18 years ( give and take a few months cus i dont think i watched tv when im like a few months old ) i've never watched chingay, and when i was old enough to think i'd think chingay's a waste of time and a waste of road usage who would want to watch people walking on the road like you dont see people walk on the roads everyday like that plus all the costumes and floats so ugly who would like it but hahahahahahah who'd know i'd actually take part in one so yeah, mindset changed 180deg already.

okays hope you guys are still pigging out on the newyear goodies cus i still am haha and those in the army, hope to hear interesting stuff that goes in there as well! see you guys soon! =D

Hello! Yup Happy Chinese New Year! It’s a bit late but theres 15 days right? Haha this blog has been rather stagnant, so try to blog if you have anything interesting to share. If you cant remember the password and email account, drop me a sms or u can ask wanzhen and yisin.

In a few weeks time, most of us botaks should be out from Pulau Tekong, enjoying our block leave. I guess maybe we can have a class gathering then, and a long one hopefully. If everything turns out well, we can visit places like Sentosa (which we haven gone to as a class) or maybe East Coast Park? Theres probably quite a lot of things for us to catch up with also, so do try to turn up if theres any gathering.

Heres some CNY wishes! For those in tekong, lets hope we pass out on a high next month! For those working, lets hope you get a pay rise and your employers become nicer! And may everyone’s dreams come true! Wan shi ru yi, xin xiang shi cheng!

Anyway it feels weird to be out of touch with school, and it seems like sometime ago since we last sat on the class bench, spending our time away waiting for lessons or simply refusing to go home. So do keep in touch, and may the 64 spirit stay on forever!

hello pple! i haven been here for some time cuz i forgot the username and password momentarily. i wonder if anyone still reads this? haha.chinese new year is coming! whoo-hoo. let's try to meet up during cny k! :) either chu san or the weekend after cny ok ok? oh yar! yisin wanx and i are going to deng shu's hse to bai nian! how's everybody so far? i haven been in touch with many pple sadly. it was nice to see most pple that day during hong qing's farewell. i have been working in this security company called aetos. basically juz do admin work.. like when pple come for interview, i juz help to photocopy things, take height and weight and do a colour blind test. i see quite a number of interesting pple everyday. there was once i was doing a colour blind test and when the person opened his mouth i nearly fainted ok.. super bad breath. now i learnt my lesson. i will hold my breath whenever i do a colour blind test. haha.

i quite like my working environment cuz the pple are very nice but i still miss sch :( not the exam part but juz going to sch and seeing u guys.. like every morning juz go to the class bench, talk rubbish before assembly.. going for lessons tgt..it's the feeling of togetherness that i'm missing.. if there is ever such a thing. or maybe it's juz that we have been sch all our life and a sudden change in vocation is juz difficult to adapt. i'm alr looking forward to be back in sch.

hey people! finally i manage to go dig out the username and password to blog sth here! anw the jnr class will be having STJ on 11th feb (sun) at Sakura in Toa Payoh from 12-2.30pm. anyone interested to go? maybe we can all go and play pool after that or sth...i dont know!
yup and how's the army people doing? n the girls!! havent heard from all of u in quite a while. teaching is quite fun, got to learn lots of things. but at the same time got bullied by the students as well, so kind of them. today some boy was playing with his pen n shooting sth with it, when first time he missed me and the second time, he hit me! GOOD JOB! but he was quite apologetic. unluckily for him, the snr teacher found out abt it, and poor him he was in big trouble. lesson learnt: better listen to ur teacher ahha. ok how about the rest who are working as well? hope everything has been smooth-going, and at the end of the day, hope all of u learn sth and earn big bucks! haha.

Wa Guess when ya rd dis post Recruit Chia is reporting for duty in Tekong Island! Wa ya noe dis is prob de 1st or 2nd time i am blogging sia, quite cool leh! lol i am too lazy to blog one! Since i am going in liao, let my debut be a crappy entry for all to rd! Oh somethings serious to say 1st, i am very proud to say dat 64 was a great class and i am really honoured to be in dis class! so 64 woo hoo! Hope we all can have a class gathering soon! Glad to hear that dose who are nt TEKONG-ED haf found jobs, hope everyone is enjoying deir jobs, welcome to de working life!

U all noe hor, actually i have some wishes that i hope will happen within dese 2 weeks of my tekong adventure leh, like hor:

actually i dunno wat else to say le. my life has been pretty mundane and i'm currently looking for a new job. haha. some of u may noe wat happened to my first job so i shant rant abt it here again. haha. oh yar.. yisin and i are working as night packers in John Little at PS. hahaha. it's only for 9 days actually. but it's quite fun.. juz fold clothes only. aiya.. hopefully i will find a nice job soon.but in the mean time i will enjoy staying at home playing maple. see la johnson all ur fault! go put the pic of maplestory the other time. (i realised the entry is gone!?!) so i got tempted. haha. but it's such a cute game la.

heyhey~~CJ here~Aiyah,becoz of the Taiwan earthquake (I think), access to oversea( as in out of China to me) website is really very slow-_-...Todae is the first time I access my yahoo email sucessfully~~so i only know about this blog todae =p

So first of all, happy new year!though its a bit late~~but still wish all your new year wish(es) come true!

about my life~~Well, coz I am too bored, no one pei2 wo3 wan2 陪我玩, i found a work experience at a bank (ICBC,if u have heard of it,quite big) .It has been quite a while already~Basically i work the same time as those adults, morning 830--12, afternoon 2--6pm. Banks got alot strict rules.COz i am not a formal employee, i can't do much there( like i can't cash the check for customers). i just wonder around ,watch the rest work and ask questions. Things I do most are photocopying, opening accounts for companies, answering phonecalls and pao2 tui3 (跑腿）.Sigh~~ not much hands-on,but still can learn sth here and there lah~

working is much more tiring then I thought.physically more tiring. like me, no needa do much but still feel tui2 ruan3 after work~mayb i stand too much~so, must ti3 liang4 （体谅）your parents ah~~

The worst part about the job is that I dun get pay~~totally a FREE labour!!><
They say I am not "qualified" for getting money.In China, there isn't anything like "work experience". Very few companies do that kind of charity work~so if i wanna learn from them, i dun get money. If i want $$, i work at coffee shops~~Sigh, one just can't get knowledge and $$ at the same time ~~

So this is one thing happened lately~~sorry my writing is very dry and luo1 suo1 啰嗦, I seldom blog in English~~paiseh paiseh~~

Hay everyone! First - Mozilla Firefox users rejoice!! I'm a Firefox convert and like Leonard I couldn't view this blog unless I used Internet Explorer [which is prone to threats like spyware and stuff]. Just now I decided to take a look at the layout and not surprisingly it was full of errors and mistakes. The layout looked as though 10 different people added and removed stuff they liked and disliked and passed it on. The problem of the "links" not working was also fixed. There are still many errors left in the layout and I'll try my best to fix them. For now, anyone who's experiencing any problems viewing the page can direct their concerns to me and I'll try to fix it ASAP.

In the meantime, erm... have fun everyone! :)

To those enlisting in April: Go find a job or something lor. Maybe pick up a new skill like cookery? haha. No matter what just enjoy yourself before you get enlisted.

NS life isn't too bad. Make friends, listen to instructions and you'll be fine(most of the time). think i'll be spending my birthday in the forest la. Got field camp on the 16th - 20th. really sad. haiis. Okay le. will update more on my next book out okay. Meanwhile the rest of you take care and enjoy the new year k! Hey hey... Weijun here! Slacking at home now with nothing to do... Damn sian, with nothing to do at home and dunno what to do if I go out. *hint hint* Till now, ns ain't that bad, all thanks to the monsoon =p Rain = slack in bunk, quite shiok la, at least it's true compared to pt. Nothing much happened yet, but for the guys, do enjoy urselves b4 u go in, coz the 9-wk BMT is quite meng from what i heard. But i think the worst thing of ns for me, is for some unknown reason, i think i'm quite blur now, at least since 15th Dec. Dunno if it's a general case, go ns i think i became more stupid, but at least not stupid enough to ask the sergeant if we need to bring/wear our swimming trunks when we are going swimming. Anyway, do keep me updated about what's happening in the world outside as in the world apart from tekong.

P.S.: I may randomly sms ppl between 2130 and 2230 on weekday nights when i'm bored. So try to keep your phones nearby =) Thx!

Haha I'm writing this from Desaru right now. I'm here on a real short holiday here (ya going back today) Life here is quite relaxing actually, and its near the beach. Calm and serene I would say. Then its also quite deserted here so you dun really get disturbed. Some towns nearby are flooded (hmmm) but lucky not here. Anyway, heard that the taiwan earthquake affected the internet connection there? hope its not that bad
